1. Safe - there are no blades and no grill, so you don't have to worry about fingers getting caught in the blades or grill. You can put your hand through the ring and you won't get hurt. This safety feature is great if you have kids.
2. Easy to clean - I mean, real easy. You just need a cloth to wipe it down. This a great change from having to pull apart a grill, clean the grill and blades and put it back together.
3. Touch tilt - the motor is on the bottom of the fan, instead of the top of the fan, so it can easily pivot and remain stable.
